Driving Energy Efficiency in Punjab with PEECA and Introducing the New Energy Endorsement Label

 CLASP’s collaboration with PEECA is aiming to transform the energy landscape in Punjab by promoting energy-efficient appliances and introducing an innovative energy endorsement label.

    • The first stakeholder consultation workshop, “Promoting Most Energy Efficient Appliances in Punjab & Endorsement Label Programme,” Hosted by CLASP and PEECA was held in Lahore on June 22, 2023.

    • The workshop facilitated meaningful discussions, allowing stakeholders to share their valuable feedback on the program structure and provide suggestions during breakout groups, specifically focusing on the registration process.

Biodiversity in Better Cotton

The Biodiversity in Better Cotton project, funded by the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), is a collaborative effort between SAMA^Verte and Pilio Group (UK) as Biodiversity Knowledge Partners. Their shared objective is to evaluate the current biodiversity status in cotton-producing region.

    • The strategic timeline for this initiative extends over a duration of three years.

Punjab’s Sustainable Energy Future: The Energy Endorsement

CLASP is working with the Punjab Energy Efficiency and Conservation Agency in Pakistan to promote efficient appliances that are cheaper to run through a new endorsement label.

In collaboration with the Punjab Energy Efficiency and Conservation Agency (PEECA), CLASP aims to enhance the Pakistani consumer appliance experience by introducing an innovative Energy Endorsement Label. 

    • Our partnership with CLASP marks a significant milestone in our journey towards energy efficiency. By working together, we can create a sustainable future for Punjab while ensuring economic growth and environmental preservation.
